Brigadoon Audition Instructions

Here is a scan of the two pieces I need to hear EVERYONE sing.

1) choose either 14 or 15

2) be prepared to sing at least one part that is in your range (feel free to prepare MORE than one!)

3) NOTE: all women's parts are written on the top line; the 2nd line down is TENOR clef, and therefore sung one octave lower than what is written

4) you will sing a cappella on the part you have chosen; another part will be sung by someone else at the same time

 

People wanting to audition for Fiona or Tommy must prepare both of these cuts as well as ONE of the choices of 14 or 15

1) Heather on the Hill: singers should be prepared to sing from the top of the page and continue from where the score is marked Fiona & Tommy to the end on the appropriate part

2) Almost Like Being in Love: Singers should be prepared to sing their parts on this entire page as marked

 

Just the one song for anyone auditioning for Charlie - prepare from the pick up to Q - as well as that choice of 14 or 15 that everyone needs to prepare.   Come to me, Bend to me

 

Anyone auditioning for Meg has the choice of either The Love of My Life or My Mother's Wedding Day as well as a choice of 14 or 15.

1) The Love of My Life: choose just ONE of the four verses but no matter which verse, end with the ending numbered 4.

2) My Mother's Wedding Day: sing verses 4 and 5 as written on this page
